The Cook County Landfill has an opening for a heavy equipment operator and a truck driver.
Landfill Equipment Operator and Truck Driver: Applicants with experience in dirt work, dirt moving and operating heavy equipment are preferred. Experience in the operation of various heavy equipment such as (but not limited to) motor grader, bulldozer, large excavator, backhoe, dump truck, for lift and frontend loader is also preferred. Persons applying may be required to perform unskilled manual tasks and may be required to do heavy lifting.
Applicants must successfully complete a Pre-employment Drug Test and Industrial Physical upon offer of employment.
