Early Processing & Early Tabulation
of Absentee Ballots
Pursuant to O.C.G.A. 21-2-386(a)(2) and SEB RULE 183-1-14-0.9-.15, the Cook
County Board of Elections will begin Early Processing, including scanning and
adjudication, of paper absentee ballots cast for the November 8, 2022 General
Election on:
Monday, October 31, 2022 from 9:00 am until complete.
The Board will begin Early Tabulation of paper absentee ballots cast for the
November 8, 2022 General Election on:
Tuesday, November 8, 2022 from 3:30 pm until complete.
The Early Processing and Early Tabulation of absentee ballots are open to the
view of the public and will be conducted at the Cook County Administration
Building at 1200 South Hutchinson Avenue, Adel, GA 31620.
There will be no tallying of absentee votes cast until the polls are closed at 7:00
pm on Election Day.
Notice of Computation and Canvassing of
Election Returns
Pursuant to O.C.G.A 21-2-492, notice is hereby given that the Computation and
Canvassing of the returns of votes cast in the November 8, 2022 General Election
will take place in the office of the Cook County Board of Elections located at the
Cook County Administration Building, at 1200 South Hutchinson Avenue, Adel, GA
31620, on November 9, 2022 beginning at 8:30 am, and will continue until the
results are accurately certified.
