ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
The Cook County Road Department is accepting applications for employment.
Heavy Equipment Operator: Applicants with experience in dirt road maintenance, road building and operating heavy equipment are preferred. Experience in the operation of various heavy equipment such as (but not limited to), motorgrader, bulldozer, large excavator, backhoe, dump truck, fork lift and front end loader is also preferred. Persons applying may be required to perform unskilled manual tasks and may be required to do heavy lifting.
Applicants must successfully complete a Pre-employment Drug Test and Industrial Physical upon offer of employment.
Applications will be accepted Monday – Friday, 8:30- 4:30 p.m. Applications are available at the Cook County Administration Building, 1200 S. Hutchinson Ave., Adel, GA 31620, or online at www.cookcountyga.us.
